"Innovating the Future of Food Biotechnology and Industry"

The advanced MGF-02 formula represents a new generation of nutrient solutions engineered for cultivating edible and medicinal mushrooms.

A revolutionary solution for healthy, robust mushroom growth—eliminating the need for compost and offering exceptional resilience against environmental contaminants

Who Is MycoFlair? - What Is Its Breakthrough?

MycoFlair Research & Innovation Team is a dedicated group of independent researchers specializing in controlled-agricultural environments and biomaterials science.

The team’s flagship product, the MGF-02 formula, represents the second generation of neutral, anti-contamination nutrient solutions—developed through iterative refinement and optimization of its predecessor, MGF-01.

The core mission behind MGF-02 was to create a stable, fully synthetic environment capable of supporting complete mycelial development across a range of inert substrates—including polyester, perlite, LECA (expanded clay aggregate), and rockwool—without reliance on organic compost.

This technology is the culmination of years of rigorous research, extensive field trials, and scientific validation across multiple disciplines.

MGF-02 enables compost-free mushroom cultivation, marking a transformative leap toward modern, efficient, and sustainable agriculture.

Advantages of MGF-02 Over Conventional Mushroom Composts:

Current Challenges in Mushroom Cultivation and Compost Production

The mushroom cultivation industry currently relies heavily on natural substrates and expensive, contamination-prone composts.

High production costs, excessive water consumption, and the persistent risk of fungal contamination are among the sector’s most critical challenges.

The MGF-02 formula offers a groundbreaking solution—replacing natural substrates with neutral, anti-contamination synthetic environments that make mushroom production simpler, more cost-effective, and hygienically superior.

Key Achievements with the MGF-02 Formula:

Target Market

The global market for edible and medicinal mushrooms was valued at over $60 billion in 2024 and is projected to exceed $100 billion by 2030.

Potential customers include:

  • Industrial mushroom production companies;
  • Space and biotech research centers;
  • Manufacturers of synthetic cultivation substrates;
  • Livestock and aquaculture feed producers.

Intellectual Property (IP) Status:

All laboratory documentation, reports, and mycelium performance data are available only under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

The final formula is maintained as a trade secret and is eligible for patenting its confidential chemical composition in target countries.

Intellectual property rights for the project are held exclusively by the project lead and the MycoFlair Research & Innovation Team.

Our Business Model:

MycoFlair’s business model is based on trade-secret-based sales.

Technical know-how and formulation can be transferred to reputable companies and global investors under a confidentiality agreement.

Also, the possibility of issuing limited or exclusive operating licenses exists in return for suitable financial proposals.
